Building the reputation of a City.

The Barcelona City Council needed audiovisual and photographic content to complement the recent publication of the Barcelona Identity and Positioning Brandbook

Like any big city, Barcelona generates a constant flow of connections between its inhabitants and visitors, who establish relationships of all kinds;
indirect or direct, conscious or unconscious. We looked for 6 characters that exemplified the 6 main pillars defined in the brandbook: Contrast, Soul, Talent, Commitment,  Connection and Initiative.

Using a technique very similar to hyperlapse or stopmotion, we used still photos to create moving sequences that reflect the vibration, energy and dynamism inherent to the vitality and personality of the city of Barcelona.

The technique also allowed 'in-camera' transitions to give a magic and surprising touch to the proposal while visualizing the concept of permanent and vital interconnection between citizens.
