Creating a series
from the ground up.

Over more than 18 months, alongside executive producer Santi Aguado, I worked as development producer in charge of creating the show content and style.

I also had the privilege to be the director on two episodes that reveal the secrets of nuclear fusion and bionic limbs.

Choosing the face
of the series.

We cast Nelufar Hedayat, an award-winning journalist renowned for her work with the BBC, Channel 4, and Netflix, as the host of this series. Together, we traveled across Europe to meet experts at the forefront of emerging technological revolutions.

Bringing abstract concepts to life.

To meet the audience at eye-level we teamed up with the animation studio BICOTÉ to translate abstract technical concepts into an entertaining visual universe where science meets poetry.

ANIMATIONS USED ACCROSS THE SERIES / DESIGN BICOTÉ

From ideas to final art.

Each episode contains 3 to 4 minutes of animation that required several mounths of work to transpose sketched ideas into the singular and magical world with the team of illustration and animation artists.

ORIGINAL STORYBOARDS VS FINAL ARTWORK

Shaping the visual language.

With graphic designer Marti Mur, we developped a typographic and graphic universe that served to both create a recognizable identity for the series and have a flexible toolkit to explain complex ideas on-screen.
