"Sound is always present, even silence is the presence of the absence of sound."
The project "30 Seconds of Sound Visualized" is a project curated by British sound designer and composer Simon Pyke, exploring the power of sound on the imagination.
Selected audiovisual creators were given the same soundtrack and asked to create a visualisation with no further direction. As soon as I listened to the track, images and sensations emerged:
"A feeling of oppression at first, like someone being trapped somewhere? Then, a release... But is it a relief for real? It feels like another threat is coming..."
